FAQ

Making

I work all the embroidery by hand. If you buy more than one item of the same type, they may slightly vary due to their hand-made nature. Each of my embroidery works is one of a kind, takes hours to design and complete, and reflects professional embroidery standards. I tend to make embroidery for sale in small batches and update the shop only a few times a year. If you do not want to miss an item you want, the best way is to join my mailing list to get news about upcoming shop updates. You can do it here.

Delivery

Dispatch time is usually within 2-3 working days. All the items are sent using Royal Mail recorded service. The delivery time is 1-2 days for the UK, 3-7 days for Europe, and 7-14 days for the rest of the world.

Delivery is free to any mainland UK address. For all other countries there is a flat fee of £5.30 applied at checkout.

Please note that international deliveries could be subject to customs duties depending on the country of destination. I am afraid, I cannot advise on what it might be.

How to use

My patches are ideal for customising one's clothes. They could be applied anywhere as far as your creativity extends - outwear, denim, hats, handbags, or rucksacks - anywhere you can sew them on. The patches are quite thin which makes them equally suitable for sewing onto delicate garments or outwear. The patches need to be attached by hand using a simple running stitch. No sewing experience is required for that. I include detailed instructions and a sewing kit with every purchase, so you will have everything to attach your patch straight out of the box. Please note that the patches are not suitable for attaching to leather garments as this requires special tools and advanced techniques. This applies both to faux and natural leather.

Free sewing-on service

If you are not comfortable attaching a patch yourself when buying it, I offer a free sewing-on service. You just need to send your item of clothing to me by post. I will attach the patch to it for free in a place of your choice, and send the item back. To use this service just make a purchase as normal, and I will contact you before sending your order to you so you could decide if you want me to help. Please note, that I do not offer collection in person, and the free sewing-on service is currently available only for the UK customers. I do not attach patches onto leather garments. This applies both to faux and natural leather.

Care instructions

Most of my patches are dry clean only. If your garment requires washing, a patch can be taken off the garment and then stitched back later. It takes just a few minutes to attach a small patch, and it is easy to do even without sewing experience. I provide a free sewing kit and instructions, and you can always contact me if you run out of the thread.
